With the deepest condolences to family and friends of those murdered and the hand of friendship, support and sympathy to a shattered community.

As a member of the Leeds Jewish community my thoughts are with all the Jewish community in Manchester and those bereaved from the disgusting events yesterday. I am sorry to agree with those who have said something like this was sure to happen.

Yom Kippur is a day of introspection and consideration of our own culpability in a lack of consideration of others. Actions such as the horror yesterday destroy the very fabric of society
