So very, very sorry to hear the tragic news yesterday from Manchester.

Only last week, my sister Mhairi MacLean and I visited the Jewish Heritage Centre at Garnethill Synagogue in Glasgow and the staff and volunteers were so kind and helpful. For this attack to have happened on Yom Kippur makes it all the more horrific.

We send our sincere sympathy to all at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue.

Also, we send this message to all Jewish people: “We are with you – always”.
