Like so many, I find myself short of words to describe the depravity of today’s events, and the immense sadness that our friends and neighbours in the Jewish community must be feeling. However, I know too that we have a long and proud history of standing shoulder-to-shoulder with one-another on our city’s darkest days, and we’ll continue to do that – today, tomorrow, and always. I’m thinking of everyone who’s been affected, their families and friends, and our emergency services on the ground and in control rooms, who have once again done their absolute best for Greater Manchester.
