His Royal Highness’ near century of service to this country, and our Queen, would be an inspiration on its own. He added to that an extraordinary life of patronage and support of innumerable good causes, and we owe him an extraordinary debt of gratitude. May he rest in peace, and may his family find comfort in the legacy he leaves behind.
